Well, when I sent the story I saw on the news to Alex, I did not imagine he would link to my website.  Feel free to look around.  It’s just a personal blog site, nothing fancy.

So we just finished moving Adora in to our house.  I also feel like I broke my finger at my second knuckle.  It doesn’t hurt unless I touch it in the right place.  Its really weird.  We’ll see what happens in the morning.

Have a Happy 4th of July everyone!  Those of you who are planning on celebrating by getting completely smashed, please be safe and make sure you have a SOBER designated driver.  Those of you NOT planning on getting smashed, please be safe and watch out for the drunkerds on the road.

If anyone is doing anything cool let us know.  I think we’re gonna go to Idlewild’s show and maybe come back and watch the shows put on by our neighbors.  Either way give us a ring!

So I went to drop off some cds and tapes for a client on my motorcycle today.  I’m usually very good about taking my key out of the motorcycle but when the client pulled up I just got off the bike and gave him the materials.  After about 15 minutes I hopped back on the bike and realized that I left the key…and the bike ON.  Not running, just ON.  Problem is that if the key is on, the headlight is on.  The little battery will drain so fast and mines old enough that it dies in about 5 minutes if left on but not running.  To make things worse, it started raining.  So here I am in the parking lot trying to figure out how to get it started as its pouring down rain.  I push it over to the bank in the parking lot and sit there for 30 minutes trying to track down someone to jump me.  After a while, the lady in the bank that I asked for jumper cables from finally said there’s a tire change place on the other end of the parking lot.  Couldn’t have told me that 30 minutes ago?  Nope.  So I push it over there while its raining and get it jumped.  I’m thinking about getting a new battery.

So I made this in my Action Script for Flash class back in school.  It’s not complete, but I needed to have something that functioned; had a beginning, middle and end.  I hope to make it as close to the original as possible one of these days.  But there you go for now.

I just have to say that OpenOffice.org is awesome.  It’s a free software program that lets you open Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel documents.  You can edit them and save them still so they can be used in Microsoft Office still.  You can make new documents and everything still works.  Best part, it’s free.

Don’t spend hundreds of dollars on your computer to get Office, get OpenOffice.org!  You can even donate to them instead of spending the hundreds to Microsoft’s already deep pockets.
