5am and we’re heading to Paris! While we’re walking around the city of smelly armpits and pretty buildings, you’ll be sleeping! I’ll have pictures up around the time you’ll be having dinner, so be sure to log on again before you go to bed and check out some pictures!

C&M&T

We had our first authentic German meal this evening.  For dinner we went to a local restaurant near the base that served all sorts of German and familiar sounding foods that you’d find in America.  It was a very fun experience and the natives were very nice.  It’s only like 8:30 but we’re waking up at like freaking early to go to Paris tomorrow so we’ll be going to sleep here soon.  Pictures will be up for tomorrows trip when we get back.

We did it!  We survived the plane flight to Germany!  Our plane arrived 30 minutes early and we sat at the USO Lounge in the Frankfurt airport for 2 hours until the shuttle arrived with my MOMMA! on it.  We got some tea and hot chocolate and left!  I slept most of the way to the base I was so tired.  Michelle didn’t sleep a wink on the plane or the ride to the base.  She’s a machine.  – Anyways – We got the visitors pass, moved our baggage up to the room, mom put her uniform on and went to work, and we fell asleep!  From 11:15am to 4:30pm our time we slept.  It’s 11:06am florida time.  We’re about to go to dinner and have some schnitzel!

So we get through security with little troubles… We’re both a bit hungry still, despite having cold pizza for breakfast. We spot a Chic-Fil-A which is 99.9% a reliable and amazing option for food. They aren’t serving breakfast so I order our normal meal of a #1 on wheat with cheese (Michelle doesn’t get cheese yet. 1 thing at a time). So the lady struggles to understand me and finally, a whopping 1 minute later I have my 2 sandwiches. I sit down only to discover the meat was rather cool. So I take them back and ask them to heat them up for me. A couple minutes and a fresh dip in the fryer later, our sandwiches were warm and ready to eat. Well it wasn’t until after I put my Honey Roasted BBQ sauce on my sandwich and went to put the bun back on that I realized….. I’M MISSING ONE OF MY BUNS!! They forgot to put both buns back on my sandwich! Well we had a good laugh with it. Prayed extra for our food and ate it up. So thats whats happening so far. That and our flight is already delayed 25 minutes. Anyways. I’ll probably post again from Germany tomorrow.

Oh and did I mention that I asked for wheat buns and I got white!  Awful.  Just awful!  White buns..

Hello friends and family!

We are leaving in about 20 minutes to go to Germany and see my MOMMA! I’ll be making as regular as possible posts with pictures and such.  We are scheduled to land around 12am EST on Friday, 6am German time.
